Openreach has expanded its business fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) incentive scheme, extending discounts on existing packages and launching three new FTTP offers aimed at UK businesses.

What's Changed

The network provider has extended promotional pricing on several of its current FTTP and 10Gbps Cablelink products under its Equinox incentive programme. Alongside this, three fresh FTTP packages have been introduced, with some specifically targeting areas previously served by other providers.

These moves form part of Openreach's ongoing effort to make full-fibre connections more accessible and competitive across the country. The extended and new offers apply to Communication Providers (the ISPs and resellers your business would typically order from).

What this means for your business

If your office or premises is in an Openreach-serviceable area, now is a good time to review your current broadband contract and ask your provider what new FTTP packages are available. Extended discounts can mean lower monthly costs or faster speeds at your current price point. Even if you're happy with your existing service, comparing available offers ensures you're not overpaying. Speak to your current provider or run a comparison to see what full-fibre options you now qualify for—speeds of 100Mbps or higher can significantly improve productivity, especially for cloud-based tools and video conferencing.

Next Steps

Contact your broadband provider to discuss the latest Openreach packages, or use a business comparison service to benchmark rates and speeds against competitors.
