Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern services provided by SwitcherMate Business (trading name of SwitcherMate Ltd, Company No. 16568958). Registered office: 8a Whalley Road, Accrington, BB5 1AA. By using our services you agree to these terms.
2. Services
We provide independent comparison for UK businesses across:
- Business Energy (gas and electricity)
- Card Machines (merchant services)
- Broadband & VoIP
- Business Mobile
We act as an intermediary between you and providers. We do not supply services directly.
3. Energy Administration
Energy services may be administered by Momentum Network Solutions Ltd, a separate legal entity with its own terms of service.
4. Commission Model
Our service is free to you. We are paid by suppliers when you switch. Commissions are included within supplier pricing and do not create conflicts of interest. We compare across all available suppliers based solely on your requirements.
5. Quote Accuracy
Quotes are based on information you provide and are subject to supplier validation and credit checks. All quotes are indicative until formalised by the supplier and are typically valid for 7–14 days. Final terms are governed by your agreement with the supplier.
6. Your Obligations
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Review all quotes and terms before authorising a switch
- Ensure you have authority to enter into contracts on behalf of your business
- Check exit penalties with your current suppliers before switching
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances
- Respond to supplier documentation requests in a timely manner
7. Switching Timelines
Estimated timelines (not guaranteed):
- Energy: 21–30 days (96% automatically approved via our platform)
- Card Machines: Device dispatch within 24 hours; activation 7–14 days
- Broadband: 5G options available with 24-hour dispatch; standard 10–21 days
- Mobile: Instant eSIM available with some suppliers; standard SIM 3–7 days
Actual timelines depend on supplier processes, credit approval, and infrastructure availability. We coordinate and monitor progress but cannot guarantee specific dates as suppliers control delivery.
8. Cancellation
As a business customer, statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply. Once you have authorised a switch and a supplier has accepted your contract, you are bound by that supplier's terms, which typically include minimum contract periods, notice requirements, and early exit fees.
If you wish to stop a switch before it has been fully processed by the supplier, contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp (+44 7555 632494), email ([email protected]), or phone (0800 912 4173). We will attempt to intervene on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee cancellation once a supplier has accepted your contract.
Any exit from an active supply agreement will be subject to the supplier's own terms, including any applicable termination fees.
9. Liability
We provide comparison and facilitation services only. We are not liable for supplier performance, service quality, or disputes between you and a supplier. Our liability is limited to the commission received in connection with your switch. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Supplier Relationship
Your supply contract is directly between you and the chosen supplier. We facilitate the switching process but are not party to supply agreements. In the event of a dispute, this should be raised with the supplier in the first instance. We will support you where we are able to do so.
11. Data Protection
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, and branding, is owned by or licensed to SwitcherMate Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary. All remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SwitcherMate Ltd and supersede any prior understandings.
