Who We Are

SwitcherMate Business is a trading name of SwitcherMate Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16568958). We're based in Accrington, Lancashire, and we help UK businesses cut costs on energy, broadband, and card payments through independent comparison and a fully managed switching service.

We're not a supplier. We're not tied to any one provider. We work across the whole market to find the best available deal for your business — and we manage the process from start to finish.

Why We Started

Most businesses overpay on essential services. Not because better deals don't exist — but because comparing and switching takes time that business owners simply don't have. Suppliers make it complicated on purpose.

We built SwitcherMate Business to fix that. One place to compare energy, broadband and card machine rates, with a team that handles everything so you don't have to.

How It Works

You tell us what you need. We check the market. We come back to you within one business day with the best available quote. If you want to switch, we manage the entire process — including any issues that arise along the way.

No jargon. No unnecessary back and forth. Just straightforward advice and a faster, better deal.

How We Make Money

We're transparent about this because we think you deserve to know.

We operate as an independent broker. When we arrange a service for your business, we receive a commission from the supplier or provider.

Business energy: Our commission is built into the pence per kilowatt hour (p/kWh) rate on your contract. The exact amount is detailed in the energy contract you receive directly from your supplier — we encourage you to read it. Our goal is always to find you the lowest total cost available in the market.

Broadband & VoIP and card machines: We receive a referral fee or commission from the provider we introduce you to.

We are not incentivised to push any particular supplier. Our reputation depends on finding you the right deal, not the most profitable one for us.

Independent Advice

We compare across multiple suppliers and providers in each category. We have no exclusive arrangements that would prevent us from recommending a competitor. If a supplier isn't offering competitive rates, we won't recommend them — simple as that.

SwitcherMate Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO Reg. ZC080646) and is a member of the Energy Ombudsman's Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme (ADR No. C35SWIT30).
