Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

1. Who We Are

SwitcherMate Business is a trading name of SwitcherMate Ltd (Company No. 16568958), registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 8a Whalley Road, Accrington, BB5 1AA. ICO Registration No. ZC080646. Energy Ombudsman ADR Member (No. C35SWIT30).

References to "we", "us" or "our" mean SwitcherMate Ltd. References to "you" or "your" mean the person or business accessing or using this website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using switchermatebusiness.com, submitting an enquiry, or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at switchermatebusiness.com/terms. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Our Services

We operate as an independent commercial broker. We compare business energy, broadband, VoIP, and card machine products across the market and introduce businesses to suppliers and providers who may be able to meet their requirements.

We are not a supplier, energy company, broadband provider, or payment processor. Any contract for supply of services is entered into directly between you and the relevant supplier or provider — not with SwitcherMate Ltd.

Quotes provided through our platform or by our team are based on information you supply and market rates available at the time. Quotes are indicative only and are subject to supplier approval, credit checks, and final confirmation.

We do not guarantee that any quote will result in a saving, or that any particular supplier will accept your application.

4. Business Energy Quoting — Third Party Platform

Business energy quotes are facilitated through a third party quoting and comparison platform. When you click through to obtain a business energy quote, you may be redirected to or interact with this platform.

This platform operates under its own terms of use and privacy policy, which you should read before proceeding. By using the platform, you agree to be bound by those terms in addition to these.

SwitcherMate Ltd is responsible for introducing you to the platform and for the accuracy of information we provide to it. We are not responsible for the platform's availability, technical performance, pricing accuracy, or any decisions made by suppliers through that platform.

Any energy contract you enter into as a result of using the platform is a contract between you and the relevant energy supplier. SwitcherMate Ltd is not a party to that contract.

If you have a complaint about the platform itself or a supplier's decision, please refer to our Complaints Procedure for full details of how we handle complaints and your right to escalate to the Energy Ombudsman.

5. Broadband, VoIP & Card Machine Quotes

Broadband, VoIP, and card machine quotes are facilitated by our team following submission of your enquiry. We will contact you within one business day with the most competitive options available based on the information you provide.

Any contract entered into for broadband, VoIP, or card machine services is between you and the relevant provider. SwitcherMate Ltd is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the provider's service, pricing, or terms.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when submitting an enquiry or using our services. Providing false or misleading information may result in incorrect quotes and could affect your ability to switch.

You are responsible for reviewing all contracts, terms, and pricing provided by any supplier or provider before agreeing to switch. We recommend you read all documentation carefully, including any energy contract which will contain details of our commission.

The decision to switch supplier or provider rests entirely with you. We provide information and recommendations — we do not make decisions on your behalf.

7. Commission Disclosure

We receive commission from suppliers and providers when we successfully introduce a business to them. For business energy, our commission is embedded in the pence per kilowatt hour (p/kWh) rate in your contract — full details are set out in the energy contract you receive from the supplier. For other services, we receive a referral fee from the relevant provider.

For further information on how we are remunerated, see our About page.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwitcherMate Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:

  • Reliance on any quote, recommendation, or information provided through this website or by our team
  • Any act, omission, or decision by a supplier or provider
  • Any failure, delay, or interruption of a third party platform used to deliver our services
  • Any loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunity, whether direct or indirect
  • Any inaccuracy in information provided by you that results in an incorrect quote or failed switch

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, design, logos, and code — is owned by or licensed to SwitcherMate Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

10. Third Party Links

This website may contain links to external websites. These are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the content or availability of those websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Contact & Complaints

If you have a question, concern, or complaint about our services, please see our Complaints Procedure for full details of how we handle complaints, our response timescales, and your right to refer to the Energy Ombudsman (ADR No. C35SWIT30).
